Moon, Venus and little Mars


Venus, the thin crescent Moon, and little Mars conjunction.

Conjunction - 7:15pm
New Braunfels, Texas
Canon SX50 HS - f/5.6 - ISO 400 - 1s. exposure

While they may look like good buddies in this photo... Venus is 134 million miles away from Earth... the red planet Mars is 203 million miles away... and the Moon is just a short sprint of 225,000 miles away. ;)
