A Triplet of Lights

A triplet of bright lights in the east this morning… a rare conjunction of Jupiter, Venus, and Mars. It won’t happen again until January 2021! Jupiter, Venus, and Mars (in order from the top to bottom in the photos)… all fit within a 5° field of view diameter circle in the sky. See the reddish glow of Mars? :)

  1. Fantastic shot of the planetary trio. It's my first view these mornings when I look out of the window and the brightness of Venus is eye-catching.

    2. Hi Jenn! No, unfortunately I've made up to now no photo. I have just watched. :) All the more, I enjoy your pictures! My last astronomical photo project was the super moon eclipse.
