Full Wolf Supermoon with Aldebaran

What a great start to 2018. January is a special month. To start the year, we had a Full Wolf Supermoon. In Native American and Colonial times, the Full Moon for January was called the a Wolf Moon, as it was when the wolves howled outside of the camps, and settlements. You can also sometimes see the January Moon called an Old Moon.

Mostly Cloudy, 53° F

At the end of January, we are looking at a Full Blue Snow Supermoon! Quite a mouthful. Hopefully it won't be cloudy like it was for me on New Years Day! (Hence the pre-full supermoon photo!)
